Denise is a wife and mother of three adult children. She is also a retired Family and Consumer Science Educator. (a.k.a Home Economics teacher.) During her 39- year career she taught in Baker City OR, Hermiston, Or and Kennewick, WA.
While working in Kennewick she enjoyed teaching the Teen Parent Program. The students learned healthy living skills, infant and child development, self-care, meal preparation, and sewing!
Denise loves to sew quilts and fun craft projects. She especially likes to use her luminaire to not only sew but embellish her projects with embroidery designs.
She looks forward to teaching a variety of classes at Sandy’s Fabrics and Machines and meeting others who share her passion.
