iCases 2.0

Carry and store electronic devices comfortable with these stylish clutches made in your favorite fabrics and colors.

This bag is great for a beginner who wants to learn basic bag making skills. You will learn techniques for sewing zippers, making zippered pockets, sewing with foam and attaching bias binding. You can add a piece of ribbon across the front flap and above the zipper to spruce up your bag. You need ½ yard of each ribbon.

I made this bag in the small and large sizes as I intend to use it to transport my paperwork and patterns to and from class. You could make any size bag in class. Be sure to check the supplies on the pattern back for the appropriate items you need for the size bag you are making.

Homework:

If you do not do your homework, you might not have time to complete your bag in class.

Review the pattern

Cut out and label all parts and pieces from the fabrics needed for the size bag you are making. DO NOT cut the bias binding. (Page 2)

Cut out and label foam and SF101

Quilt the bag body and front pocket pieces using the main fabric, lining fabric and Soft and Stable (foam). If you do not know how to do this you can do it in class. See Page 3.

Refer to the pattern back for the specific supplies you need to make this bagPay close attention to the size required for your bag.
