Homeward Bound Quilt Pattern is by Sue Daley Designs.  It is a combination of English paper piecing and applique.  The flowers on the quilt are paper pieced and then appliqued by hand or machine to the quilt top that has been pieced together in squares of different colors.

Do you like to sew?  Do you like to quilt?  Participate in making quilts of valor to honor deserving veterans who have been touched by war.  Come join the local Tri City QOV organization!  Join our fun and friendly group for the Sandy's QOV sit and sew tribute and give back to the folks who protected us.

Kimberbell Fun with Fringe
Learn how to embroider flowers and put them in a mason jar vase.  The blossoms and stitching patterns will create dimensions with fringe embroidery.

Learn how to stitch on a tea towel and canvas tote.  You will stitch the embroidery design and cut away the bobbin thread which will create a dimensional flower.
Embroidery by number in the hoop
Make an in the hoop pieced item that can be used in many ways.  Such as pin cushions, mug rugs, mini quilt blocks, pot holders, hot pads and more.  This is a great way to use up all your small scraps.
